Line study - One of the first things I did in my design class. The inspiration was a river in the style of circuits.

Shape study - I was told to make at least three different simple designs out of repeating shapes.

Negative space study - We were told to look at some objects and fill in the negative space, then take a shape we found and make a design.

I took the side of the stool I drew and made an A out of it.

Repeating design from found objects - Much like the previous project, this involved making drawings of objects, taking parts of them, and making two designs out of them. I drew a candle in a stand, a flower...

...a hand excerciser, and a few other things I didn't end up using.

I took some small bits out of the drawings I made. The first design was a sort of column out of the candle stand.

The second was a sideways design using stylized flower petals and bits of the hand exerciser. The finished column is on the right.

This is the final flower petal design.

Art book - I had to find an old book and alter it somehow. I found an old cookbook and decided to take the flower motif from the front and enlarge it on the back.

I also added some plantlike things around the borders.

Structures movie - In high school, I made some buildings in a 3D modeling program and did a flythrough. Evil office buildings!

Chess Game - In the same class segment we were given a tutorial for making chess pieces, so I decided to have some fun with it, and made the shortest possible chess game.
